The Source
Myanmar's Hills
The finest jadeite in the world comes from a narrow belt of mountains in Myanmar. Here, deep within the earth, geological forces over millions of years produced the mineral conditions for Type A jadeite: dense, untreated, and alive with colour.
We work directly with trusted partners in Mandalay and Yangon who have spent generations learning to read a stone — its translucency, its texture, its inner light. Every piece we carry begins with their discernment.
What We Stand For
Type A Only
We carry exclusively Type A jadeite — natural, untreated, unenhanced. No polymer impregnation, no bleaching, no artificial colouring. The stone you receive is exactly as nature made it.
Considered Sourcing
Our supply chain is built on long-standing relationships with Burmese traders and lapidaries who share our commitment to ethical practice and fair exchange.
Handcraft
Each piece is finished by hand in small workshops in Hong Kong and Singapore. We do not mass-produce. Every setting, every polish, every clasp is attended to individually.
Provenance
We provide documentation for every significant piece — stone origin, treatment status, and gemological certification where applicable. Transparency is not optional.
The Making
A Discipline of Patience
Jadeite is one of the hardest gemstones on earth. Carving it demands slow, deliberate work — diamond-tipped tools, water cooling, and hours of careful attention to the stone's natural grain and colour distribution.
Our artisans have trained for years to understand how light moves through a cabochon, how a bangle's wall thickness affects its resonance, how the smallest asymmetry in a pendant can either honour or diminish the stone.
We do not rush this process. A single ring may take several weeks from rough stone to finished setting. That time is the work.
A Stone for a Lifetime
Jadeite does not fade, does not tarnish, does not diminish. Worn with care, a piece of Type A jadeite will outlast its owner — and carry something of them forward. That is why we take the work seriously.
